He studied which arguments win cases and while findings are already disturbing -the little guy rarely wins- the more alarming finding is that we do not have access to all data.
One might argue: Dutch ๐ณ๐ฑ are just bias but in fairness, no country is able to release all cases.
Even if we anonymize cases before release - they might elect to never do it.
Remember, France ๐ซ๐ท will jail you for 7 years if you do sentiment analysis on judges.
But that's not the real reason for not releasing. It's actually more mundane: we -humans- are inconsistent and irrational which shows up in our judicial decisions.
Worse, lawyers like it that way too ๐ฐ
